Destination Weddings in the U.S.
The winter winds are blowing strongly this week. Want to get away from it all? You can choose a tropical wedding location and still be married in the U.S. This wedding in Puerto Rico featured warm weather, swaying palm trees and mojitos for all. Opting for a warm climate with a February wedding is certainly appealing if that's your plan. Benefits included keeping your U.S. money, no passports necessary or language barriers. Obviously you'll still want to do your homework on vendors carefully. We've travelled to weddings both within U.S. territories and internationally. Bringing your photographer with you when planning a destination wedding can be a smart move. Dealing with a shooter outside of the U.S. in the planning stage and after the wedding can be problematic, and protections under the law may be limited otherwise. Making pictures go smoothly is what we do, so you can sit back and enjoy a frozen cocktail and chill out figuratively, not literally.
