Wedding Venues: Rosecliff
As you drive down Bellevue Avenue towards Ocean Drive, you're drawn to look to your left. Have you been transported to Louis XiV's Palace of Versailles?
You've just past Rosecliff. Perhaps no other location characterizes the glamorous Newport wedding like this mansion from Newport's gilded age. Built by Theresa Fair Oelrichs as a summer house for entertaining, it's was designed by Stanford White. The mansion was modeled on The French Palace, below.
Our Rosecliff however is much better place to host your wedding! It's oceanside location, beautifully manicured grounds and victorian era decor, provides the ultimate wow factor upon entry. From the walk down the sweetheart staircase to meet dad before the ceremony, to the first dance in the amazing ballroom, this is where a bride's wedding memories are made.
To arrange a wedding at Rosecliff, you should contact The Newport Preservation Society. Note that weddings at this Newport jewel require vendors to follow important rules carefully. We've worked at Rosecliff for many years and are honored to be among it's trusted professionals. I hope you'll contact us to discuss pictures at this special Newport landmark if you're heart is set on a Rosecliff wedding.
