Higgins Beach, Maine
I must give credit where it's due. If my friends Kate and Joe had not clued me in on this beach in Maine, I certainly would have missed out on a great location for some outstanding landscape photographs. The wreck of the Howard W. Middleton, still visible since meeting it's fate in 1897, was really what I was after. The wreck photograph is still in the works, but I love it already- it will be available soon. The shoreline lends itself to some great pictures. Maybe I'll be back again to walk the beach while the surfers try their luck with the waves, but there are more place I've never been that must come next.
